I can't stop listening to Pentatonix's Christmas songs.  It's nice when you can listen to the classics in a totally new way, keeps the Christmas music fresh.

I am loving this video, what an incredible advertisement.  It makes me want to go get a Volvo right and runaway to Iceland or Sweden. 

Ever since I started watching Mad Men I have been really thinking about what goes into advertising.  What a creative and interesting job.

Florence and The Machine

I can stop listening to Florence and The Machine lately.
She is so incredible live. I think her voice is just magical.
I just bought the MTV Unplugged live album on iTunes and it is excellent. 
I love this version of "Jackson" on the album.  Sometimes I waste too much time trying to look up different versions of my favorite songs, because songs can have such a different sound and tone depending on who preforms them.

I really love watching artist working through the creative process. Plus I could watch Marcus all day.

Making My Heart Melt

Today Sucks

Ever have one of those days when all of sudden you realize the person you thought really loved just doesn't anymore? It's heart breaking and sad and I feel like I have had a few to many of those days lately. It's like you know they have fallen out of love with you but you don't accept it until one day you wake and say "the signs have been there for so long, I guess today I will actually accept it". So I am accepting and I am going to live in the sadness today and then move on. I am going to listen to every heart-breaking version of this song I can find, be grateful for what we had, sad for what we lost and hope that someday I will find someone who would rather be home with me then travelling the world without me ..... maybe that is a lot to ask for?

There is nothing she can't sing.....
